Sneaker Week 2024 Announces Details of its Three-Day K.I.C Off Festival

To be Held Downtown in Pioneer Square, Each Day will Explore and Celebrate Singular

Themes of Knowledge, Innovation, and Culture in the Sneaker Industry.

PORTLAND, OR – June __, 2024 – Officials from Sneaker Week 2024 today announced details concerning its three-day “K.I.C Off Festival,” which will take place Fri.-Sun. July 26-28, downtown in Pioneer Square.

“This year we will dig deep into three themes that are foundational to the sneaker industry,” Sneaker Week Co-Founder Megan Davis said. “Knowledge, innovation, and culture (K.I.C.) shape the entire sneaker world.”

Each day of the festival will be dedicated to exploring and celebrating a particular theme through a range of engaging activities, including workshops, demos, discussions, and performances. Highlighted events for each day are as follows:

Fri., July 26 – Knowledge Day

 Creative Discovery: An interactive workshop and discussion featuring Timberland Senior

Designer and Founder of CNSTNT DVLPMNT, Chris Dixon

 Career Trajectory: A roundtable discussion led by Portland’s leading creative staffing

agency, 52 LTD

 Design Combine: Challenging up and coming designers in the field of graphic design,

marketing, and merchandising

Sat., July 27 – Innovation Day 

 Sneaker Legend: A tribute to the life and legacy of legendary Nike Designer and former Adidas CEO, Peter Moore

 RE:VIBE - A sustainable fashion show produced by Bloom Agency

 Product demos by leading tech companies

Sun., July 28 – Culture Day

 PDX Hairgods Barber Battle: A competition among barbers from the PNW region 

 DJ and artist performances: Dinero Ferrar and SoundsbyDonta

Additionally, all three days will feature:

 An interactive customization station powered by Ford F150 Lightning 

 A sneaker exhibition curated by Wacom Technologies

 A happy hour from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. sponsored by Prosper Portland, featuring local

breweries, distilleries, and wines
