Oregon Technology Awards 2020 Winners Announced
The Technology Association of Oregon (TAO) announced the winners of the 2020 Oregon Technology Awards last night at the Oregon Technology Awards ceremony. These awards celebrate excellence and achievement within the region’s vibrant technology community. Now in their 36th year, the Oregon Technology Awards recognize the state’s most noteworthy technology companies in four categories: Technology Company of the Year, Influential Technology Company Not Headquartered in Oregon, Most Disruptive Technology of the Year, and People’s Choice.
The event also honored two outstanding leaders in the Oregon and Southwest Washington technology community. Peggy Miller, CEO and Director of PacStar, received the 2020 Sam Blackman Award and Eric Rosenfeld, Founder at Oregon Venture Fund, 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award winner. “We’re incredibly proud of all that has been accomplished and are honored to celebrate the individuals and companies whose breakthrough technologies and business models have made the region a global hub for innovation,” said Skip Newberry, TAO President and CEO. “Hosting the 36th Oregon Tech Awards virtually was a great opportunity to reflect on the resiliency of the Oregon tech community and how the Northwest has become a global technology hub.”The winners were selected from a wide spectrum of industries within the various award categories.
