Oregon Technology Awards 2019 Winners Announced

Portland, Ore. (April 18, 2019) — The Technology Association of Oregon (TAO) announced the winners of the 2019 Oregon Technology Awards last night at the Oregon Technology Awards ceremony. These awards celebrate excellence and achievement within the region’s vibrant technology community.

Now in their 35th year, the Oregon Technology Awards recognize the state’s most noteworthy technology companies in four categories: Technology Company of the Year, Influential Technology Company Not Headquartered in Oregon, Most Disruptive Technology of the Year and People’s Choice Technology Company of the Year.

The event also honored two outstanding leaders in the Oregon and Southwest Washington technology community. Scott Keeney, CEO of nLIGHT, received the 2019 Sam Blackman Award and Don Domes, technology consultant for the Hillsboro School District, was named 2019 Tech Champion winner.

“The 35th Oregon Tech Awards are a great opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come in the Oregon tech community over the last three or four decades, how the Northwest has become a global hub technology community has developed over the last few decades,” said Skip Newberry, TAO President and CEO. “We’re incredibly proud of all that has been accomplished and are honored to celebrate the individuals and companies whose breakthrough technologies and business models have made the region a global hub for innovation.”

The winners were selected from a wide spectrum of industries within the various award categories. The TAO is proud to announce the 2019 Oregon Technology Award winners as follows:

Technology Company of the Year

· Emerging: Stackery

· Rising Star: CrowdStreet

· Growth: Jama Software

· Enterprise: nLIGHT

Influential Technology Company Not Headquartered in Oregon

· CloudBolt

Most Disruptive Technology of the Year

· Cloudability

People’s Choice Technology Company of the Year

· Kristina Payne, Lane Workforce Partnership
