Celebrating 40 Years of Innovation: The 2024 Oregon Tech Awards
Portland, OR, April 2, 2024 – The Technology Association of Oregon (TAO) is pleased to announce that the 40th Annual Oregon Tech Awards will be taking place on Monday, May 6, 2024 at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI), which was recently named the best science museum in the country in the 2024 Newsweek Reader’s Choice Awards. Presenting sponsors are United Healthcare, Cushman & Wakefield, and Vernier Science Foundation and the event will be hosted by Oregon Public Broadcasting Science Reporter Jess Burns. Ticketed attendees will enjoy a reception, awards ceremony, and dinner.
For forty years Oregon Technology Awards (OTAs) has celebrated excellence and achievement in the region's technology industry and this year’s event will recognize eight companies, three teachers, and one student of the year for their accomplishments, leadership, and commitment to the industry and community. This year’s OTAs are also a chance to get an in-person look at TAO’s recent rebrand, which features a new forest green color scheme that draws inspiration from the natural beauty of the region and reflects TAO’s maturity, expanded influence, and unwavering commitment to the Pacific Northwest’s tech community,
With the company nomination process formally closed on March 25, 2024, finalists will be announced on April 8th, 2024 and winners will be revealed on the day of the event. Presented to companies headquartered in Oregon or SW Washington, who have had a significant impact on Oregon’s technology industry in the past year including financial, employment and community factors, the eight company award categories include:
- Pre-Revenue
- Emerging ($1 to $2,999,999)
- Rising Star ($3M - $9,999,999)
- Accelerate ($10M - $19,999,999)
- Growth ($20M - $49,999,999)
- Momentum ($50M - $99,999,999)
- Enterprise ($100M+)
- Most Disruptive
