What is Ignite TAO: Health?
Ignite TAO: Health is a high-energy evening of 5-minute talks by local people who have a burning idea and the guts to get on stage and share their personal and professional passions. Quick, fun, thought-provoking, social, local, and global - Ignite is all of these and more.
Ignite TAO: Health will focus on topics around wellness, pharmaceuticals, software, medical devices, healthcare and more. What new products, services or research can really take healthcare to the next level? What new ideas could make the world of healthcare better - for patients, for doctors, or for everyone? Speakers are from the local Portland community with representatives across many verticals - we want to hear from you!

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The event will take place at "KCRB" (Knight Cancer Research Building) in the 1st Floor Auditorium (1015)
Parking is available in the Schnitzer Parking lot located on the corner of SW Moody & Sheridan @ $3 per hour per vehicle or a maximum of $13 per vehicle per day.
Ridesharing and/or public transit options are strongly encouraged.
Will food & beverages be provided?
TAO will provide a selection of lite bites and non-alcoholic beverages.
**FOOD & BEVERAGE WILL NOT BE PERMITTED IN THE AUDITORIUM**

Should you have any questions or require additional assistance please reach out to Justin Martinez, Event & Program Coordinator.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, a printed ticket is not required. TAO staff will be checking registration electronically at a check-in table and your ticket can be located with your last name if you do not have your printed or electronic ticket with you.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes, that is okay. Name badges for registered attendees will be printed earlier the same morning of the event so you may not have a printed name badge, but you will have the opportunity to customize your own.
What's the agenda/timeline?
- Mingling with lite bites and non-alcoholic beverages from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM or 6:15 PM
- Presentations begin 6:00 PM or 6:15 PM
- Presentations conclude 7:00 PM or 7:15 PM
- Mixing & mingling until 8:00 PM
