Calling all cyber-security professionals and students!

Join ISSA Eugene and the Technology Association of Oregon for our December joint meetup in Eugene.

Meet and network with other cybersecurity professionals. We'll hear from an all-star cast of cyber-security professionals. Panelists will share best practices in information security programs: policy writing, incident investigation, vulnerability hygiene, threat intelligence, and earning buy-in for security projects.

 John Somm | Partner Account Manager | Juniper Networks
John is a 20+ year Technology Industry veteran. Working for multiple manufacturers has given him a unique insight into Industry trends. His practice has long held a focus on Information Security, with subspecialties in VoIP/Unified Communications, Data Center technologies, Route/Switch and sub-Infosec items like – practicing Safe Computing, IPSEC VPN’s, and Zero Trust Architectures. John has recently taken on a new challenge at Juniper Networks, running the VAR Channel for the Pacific NW.

 Denise Brinkman | Network/Security Admin | Lane County College
Denise has over 20 years of experience in network security administration in higher education. Her skills span network administration, firewalls, VMware ESX, network Security, and system administration.

Josh has over 20 years of enterprise networking experience. He always works to find the balance between bleeding edge and tried, true, and stable. He also enjoys discussing the ever-evolving landscape of enterprise networking and security.
